It has been a hot minute. The past two months of my life have been crazy, with no end in sight. I completely skipped over a goals/rewind post last month, so I’ll do my best to update you on everything that’s been going on around here and reflect on the goals I made in April!

Finally, I’m back with part two in my Hall Home Tour series! I have been working on my shelf gallery wall in my living room for months, so I thought I’d share the process and how it all came together. This is the first and only space I have actually finished in my house so far, so I’m pretty excited about it.
It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted over here, and I think it’s about time I explain why.
Colby and I are in a cooking competition and the grand prize is our own restaurant space, six months free rent, and $50,000. It’s safe to say it’s taking up a lot of our time.
April is here! Around my home in Utah, March brought us a little glimpse of spring before going back to chilly weather, but I’m hoping this month the sun will be here to stay! Seeing some green back in the world is a welcome sight for me this year.
That being said, March had a lot happening around here, so if you’re curious, read on!
Since things are starting to calm down around our place, and we’ve been in our new home for almost five months, I decided I will finally start sharing our home tour and process piece by piece. For the longest time I didn’t want to talk about it here (or anywhere) at all, because of how frustrating and emotional it all was for me, but now that I’m a little bit removed from it and getting around to making it our own, I feel ready to open up about it and share the little advice that I can.
So before I get into posts about the actual space, I thought I would let you in on what went down in the process of buying our home.
